{"id":817,"date":"2007-06-25T08:25:05","date_gmt":"2007-06-25T16:25:05","guid":{"rendered":"\/?p=817"},"modified":"2007-06-30T13:30:33","modified_gmt":"2007-06-30T21:30:33","slug":"announcing-the-information-card-logo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.identityblog.com\/?p=817","title":{"rendered":"Announcing the Information Card Icon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I want to congratulate&nbsp;Mike Jones and my other colleagues for&nbsp;all their work in&nbsp;creating and figuring out how to protect&nbsp;an Information Card icon that can be used by everyone worldwide who supports InfoCard technology.&nbsp; Creative people, legal people, and marketing folks all helped&nbsp;bring this to fruition.&nbsp; Here&#39;s <a href=\"http:\/\/self-issued.info\/?p=17\">Mike&#39;s post<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><img loading=\"lazy\" align=\"left\" width=\"128\" src=\"\/wp-content\/images\/2007\/06\/infocard-logo.jpg\" hspace=\"10\" height=\"90\" style=\"width: 128px; height: 90px\" \/>I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m very pleased to announce that, as of today, there is now a graphical icon freely available for people to use to indicate that \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Information Cards are accepted here\u00e2\u20ac\u009d. This icon is intended to provide a common visual cue that Information Cards can be used to provide information to a site or program, similarly to how the RSS icon <img src=\"http:\/\/self-issued.info\/images\/icon_feed.gif\" \/> is used to indicate the availability of syndicated content.<\/p>\n<p>The guidelines for the use of the icon, a frequently asked questions document, a set of png images of the icon rendered in a range of sizes, and the original artwork in Illustrator format are all <a modo=\"false\" href=\"http:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/downloads\/details.aspx?FamilyID=ce99e033-39a8-4bc5-9014-60ed0b560d0e&amp;displaylang=en\">available together in a download package<\/a>.
