 Start up the IIS management console – for example by going to the Control Panel, opening “Administrative Tools”, and the opening “Internet Information Services”.<\/p>\n

Double click on your local computer, then “Websites”, and highlight “Default Web Site”<\/p>\n

Under the “Action” menu, select “Properties”, and then the “Directory Security” tab:<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Click on the “Server Certificate” button and select “Next” when you see the wizard.  Then highlight the “Assign an existing certificate” radio button:<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Click “Next”, highlight an appropriate certificate (e.g. the one you just installed), and press “Next” again.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

You'll be shown certificate details, and on pressing “Next” one more time you'll be asked to “Finish”.<\/p>\n

IIS is now configured to accept your machine certificate.<\/p>\n
