{"id":559,"date":"2006-09-03T10:07:15","date_gmt":"2006-09-03T18:07:15","guid":{"rendered":"\/?p=559"},"modified":"2006-09-03T10:08:43","modified_gmt":"2006-09-03T18:08:43","slug":"enough-on-itunes-and-modern-times","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.identityblog.com\/?p=559","title":{"rendered":"Enough on iTunes and Modern Times"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Now it appears <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Modern-Times-Deluxe-Bonus-DVD\/dp\/tracks\/B000GRTQSE\/ref=dp_tracks_all_1\/102-9090529-4138540?ie=UTF8#disc_1\">Amazon&nbsp;had it wrong<\/a>&nbsp;all along.&nbsp; Apparently&nbsp;Disc&nbsp;1 of the molecular version <a href=\"\/?p=558#comment-1517\">is missing the songs<\/a> in the four&nbsp;videos as well.<\/p>\n<p>Even in BrickAndMorterville you can&#39;t&nbsp;put the soundtracks of the DVD onto a CD because that&nbsp;would break&nbsp;other, more draconian,&nbsp;DRM.<\/p>\n<p>So&nbsp;I guess I&#39;m just supposed&nbsp;to accept&nbsp;the fact that&nbsp;I can&#39;t get all the songs (regardless of the format they came in) onto a CD &#8211; even though I have bought them.<\/p>\n<p>Videos apparently aren&#39;t songs,&nbsp;although people are singing, so it&#39;s OK if they&#39;re&nbsp;trapped inside their iTunes cage.<\/p>\n<p>That&#39;s life in Modern Times.&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Four of my songs are trapped inside their iTunes cage.
