Sarah thinks <strong>a single identity<\/strong> is sufficient for everything.  She also says:<\/p>\n<blockquote dir=ltr style=\"MARGIN-RIGHT: 0px\">\n<p>It is unlikely that &#8216;function creep&#8217; will inaugurate a Big Brother state.<\/p>\n<p>More probable is that the government will spend fantastic amounts of money on an inflexible and ineffective plan, conceived out of political expediency, achieving nothing more than a vague notion of improved security.<\/p>\n<p>And a useless piece of plastic.<\/p>\n<p>And another fiasco to be added to the already battered reputation of public sector IT.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p dir=ltr>Ideal Government has also <a href=\"http:\/\/www.idealgovernment.com\/index.php\/weblog\/id_cards_if_not_too_benign_certainly_profitable_for_many\/\" class=\"broken_link\">published a list<\/a> of companies which have announced their intentions to bid.
