{"id":1153,"date":"2010-08-03T14:09:49","date_gmt":"2010-08-03T22:09:49","guid":{"rendered":"\/?p=1153"},"modified":"2010-08-03T16:34:17","modified_gmt":"2010-08-04T00:34:17","slug":"nice-twitter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.identityblog.com\/?p=1153","title":{"rendered":"Nice twitter"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I had a tiny\u00a0and unobtrusive little &#8220;privacy experience&#8221; today with Twitter that gives the lie to the idea that privacy makes things complicated and unruly.<\/p>\n<p>Someone had tried to locate me using\u00a0my email address. My privacy settings did not allow this (not sure if it was because\u00a0Twitter&#39;s privacy policy had changed or because of my initial choices).\u00a0No matter, Twitter sent me a one-sentence email that explained the situation, and when I clicked on the link allowed me to change my options with a single button press.
