{"id":1106,"date":"2010-06-02T06:43:55","date_gmt":"2010-06-02T14:43:55","guid":{"rendered":"\/?p=1106"},"modified":"2010-06-02T08:38:15","modified_gmt":"2010-06-02T16:38:15","slug":"terena-networking-conference-and-the-fourth-law","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.identityblog.com\/?p=1106","title":{"rendered":"TERENA Networking Conference and the Fourth Law"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I\u00a0gave a <a href=\"http:\/\/distance.ktu.lt\/terena\/3A\">plenary keynote <\/a>on the Laws of Identity to the <a href=\"http:\/\/tnc2010.terena.org\/schedule\/\" class=\"broken_link\">TERENA conference <\/a>in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.lt\/url?sa=t&amp;source=web&amp;ct=res&amp;cd=8&amp;ved=0CEwQFjAH&amp;url=http%3A%2F%2Fen.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2FVilnius&amp;rct=j&amp;q=vilnius&amp;ei=_moGTNivDoqg4QbD8-TXDA&amp;usg=AFQjCNEFgBCfP8VabDnOSzAyePoATaaewg\">Vilnius <\/a>this week.\u00a0\u00a0The intense controversy around Google&#39;s world mapping of private WiFi identifiers made it pretty clear that\u00a0the<a href=\"\/?p=306\"> Fourth Law of Identity\u00a0<\/a>is not an academic exercise.\u00a0 TERENA is a place where people &#8220;collaborate, innovate and share knowledge in order to foster the development of Internet technology, infrastructure and services to be used by the research and education community.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/distance.ktu.lt\/terena\/3A\"><img src=\"\/wp-content\/images\/2010\/05\/terena_1.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>People in the identity community will have heard me talk about the <a href=\"\/wp-content\/images\/2009\/06\/7_Laws.htm\" class=\"broken_link\">Laws of Identity<\/a> before.
